Hale Village Hall offers first class amenities for both the local community and for non-residents who can hire the hall and/or its meeting rooms for a variety of celebratory, business and public events, at any time of year.

Hale residents take advantage of the hall’s amenities regularly with a plethora of events each month. The hall delivers a perfect environment for a concert, theatre production, disco, fashion show, seminar or party,

Main Hall
With dimensions of 18 metres by 10 metres, our Main Hall can seat a maximum of 150 guests when configured with tables for parties, wedding receptions, anniversaries etc. (actual numbers depend on layout and whether a formal “sit down meal” is required).
It can also seat up to 250 people when configured for a “theatre-style” business presentation, lecture, demonstration or theatrical/musical event.

The hall has a solid wooden floor. There is also variable lighting, zoned central heating and plenty of power-points.

Meeting Rooms
​
The two meeting rooms are located on the first floor and are 4.5 metres by 5 metres and can be opened out into one larger space to accommodate larger bookings. There is a sink and tea and coffee making facilities should they be required, with an accessible lift.

Community Room
The foyer is an area which offers space for 20-40 seated guests depending on configuration. The foyer adjoins one of the two hatches in the kitchen.
​
This space can be hired independently from the rest of the Village Hall facilities or in combination with the Main Hall for larger events. It has dimensions of 4.5 metres by 5 metres and is situated at the main entrance end of the building with doors opening out onto the gravel patio area and paving to the front of the building.

Kitchen
​
The kitchen is a fully functioning commercial standard kitchen with single oven/hob, two large commercial fridges, sink, water heater, microwave, commercial dishwater and stainless steel preparation tables. The kitchen has two hatches, one that opens out to the Main Hall and the other that opens out to the Foyer.
​
Please enquire at time of booking if use of crockery, glassware and flatware is also required.

Tables and Chairs
​
Use of our tables and chairs is included in the cost of any hire:

Our tables are 4ft. trestle style (for business meetings, “top table” etc.), that will accommodate about 6 people.

Our chairs are upholstered in grey, complimenting the colour scheme of the hall and; of course it’s possible to hire chair covers if so desired.

If you require additional use of items such as a projector or bar then please enquire at time of booking.

General Information
​
The Disabled Toilet includes a baby changing facilities.
​
The Main Hall has access out onto the small rear car park, which has two disabled bays and can accommodate six vehicles.
​
Fire exits from the inside facilities should be noted by all hirers and their positioning shared with guests.
​
The muster point for the evacuation of the Village Hall is next to the noticeboard at the front of the hall.
​
Please note that Hale Village Hall has full disabled access & facilities and that a No-Smoking Policy operates throughout.
​
A fully maintained and monitored Defibrillator is available within the Red Telephone Box at the front of the building.

Hale Village Hall has a regular list of approved suppliers, covering services such as catering, chair covers, party activities, entertainment etc which may help give you inspiration when considering hiring our hall for your special occasion. Please enquire at time of booking.
