About Us

Hale Village Hall has been serving the community for over forty years, enhancing the social, educational and recreational wellbeing of residents and visitors alike.
A Drill Hall, previously used for Army training during the war years, stood until its demolition in the early 1970s to be replaced by a prefabricated building in 1974 that soon became known as Hale Village Hall.

Before becoming redundant, the Drill Hall was used by Webb Nurseries for sterilising daffodil bulbs.

The building stood from XXXX to XXXX prior to the Hesketh family gifting the land to Hale to erect a permanent village hall. Hale Village Hall stood for just over forty years, when in 2015 it was demolished to make way for a new state-of-the-art community centre funded by the National Lottery, WREN, X, and X. The new building was opened in October 2017 and has since continued to add to the social, educational and recreational objectives its predecessors laid the foundations for.
